The project aims to support them in <strong data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1354\">revisiting, reconstructing, and remediating<\/strong> this relationship\u2014helping them to develop <strong data-start=\"1397\" data-end=\"1458\">autonomous, reflective, and inclusive teaching identities<\/strong> in mathematics education.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1486\" data-end=\"1949\">Mathematics holds a central position in curricula worldwide, both as a <strong data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1582\">core cognitive domain<\/strong> and as a <strong data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1620\">socio-cultural construct<\/strong> that shapes educational success and personal confidence. By integrating <strong data-start=\"1693\" data-end=\"1717\">digital storytelling<\/strong> as an experiential medium for reflection, expression, and communication, REMEDIATE introduces an innovative approach to <strong data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1859\">teacher education<\/strong>, combining <strong data-start=\"1871\" data-end=\"1913\">emotional awareness, cognitive insight<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1919\" data-end=\"1948\">creative digital practice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"2248\">Through the production and sharing of digital stories, REMEDIATE fosters <strong data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2069\">community building, reflective engagement<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"2075\" data-end=\"2098\">multimodal learning<\/strong> among future teachers, offering a model of teacher training that unites <strong data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2210\">research, technology, and education<\/strong> in a transformative learning process.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;] The REMEDIATE project (Re-experiencing Mathematics through Digital Storytelling) explores how digital storytelling (DST) can be employed as both a pedagogical and research tool to transform pre-service teachers\u2019 relationship with mathematics.
